HondaJet - HA-420 Aircraft Information
The HondaJet from Honda Aircraft Company is the first aircraft ever built by Honda.
The aircraft is built for the new very light jet (VLJ) segment that has emerged in the aviation world.
The HondaJet, however will be the biggest very light jet and can almost be considered a light jet.
Currently the HondaJet is still in testing at the Company's headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The production facility will be complete in 2011 and is located at the company's Greensboro headquarters.
Honda recently finished building their first actual conforming aircraft and has just completed it's first test flight in December 2010. The Honda Jet deliveries have were delayed to 2013 due to a problem with the HondaJet engine (GE Honda HF-120). Honda is running its test flight program for the HondaJet and has not yet gained FAA/government certification for the HondaJet. The company has announced that it will begin deliveries in 2015.
Honda Aircraft is striving to make the HondaJet the best in it's category with advanced futures like the Garmin G3000 avionics suite and a full lavatory (restroom) with a water running sink.
